Humanity: Just a Step Ahead

In today’s era everyone wants to achieve something in life and to do so we are busy in Jobs, studies, business or household works. But somehow we forget about the most important task of our life, it’s to think about the future, to spend time with family or to connect with our believes. We want a good life but this busy schedule creates a gap between us and our ethics (Believes). Indirectly in this race we have lost our humanity somewhere.

This absence of humanity is crippling everything and everyone. This is like an epidemic with terrible emotional, mental and physical consequences. The whole world is divided into several religions based on different types of traditions, cultures and regions. One common thing among all is that we all are humans who are divided by religions but united by humanity. The only solution that Humanity should be taught to a child, is from a very early age. This process should start from home where children should be told stories about great emperors and warriors who succeeded because of their ability to spread love and kindness. Every school’s goal should not be only giving theoretical knowledge or learning, but to establish good manners, humanity and to develop their character!

Be a good human being, a warm hearted, affectionate person. That is my fundamental belief.

We have failed to inculcate the virtue of humanity in our children even we are also avoiding these things in our day-to-day life. Humanity is what we need to teach our children for a better world tomorrow. Here in this blog we will get to know about that step which is necessary for Humanity.

The 100 Rs

There was a man walking through street in the city. Suddenly he noticed a piece of paper stuck to a street pole. Due to a long distance, he could only see white paper with something written on it. He ran quickly near the pole as he was very curious to read the topic. When he went closer, he found a short note on it.

Hello Sir/Ma’am,

While going home I lost my 100 rs on this street. I’m seventy years old women and have some eyesight problem so I wouldn’t be able to search it. So if you find my 100 rs you can give it to me on the below address.

After reading this he was emotional and decided to help the old lady, so took out 100 rs from wallet and started walking towards the address mentioned on the paper. When he reached there, he saw a old house and condition of that house was not so good. Broken windows and door, faded paints and collapsed wall. He was happy to make a correct decision to give 100 rs to the old lady.

When he knocked the door, it took few minutes to open the door. He saw a 70+ aged old lady with bent waist standing in-front of him. He went near and said, Grand Mother… I found your 100 rs on the street, please take this note. ( while giving the note)

The Old lady started crying, her eyes were full with tears and she sat down emotionally.

‘Grand Mother Please don’t cry, I bought back your 100 rs. I’m sorry for being late, I should have ran immediately after getting the note. But no worries your 100 rs are back’. Just be happy, The man said.

Old Lady said, I’m not crying for this 100 rs actually you are the 50th person coming since morning to handover me this amount.

The man was shocked and surprised, I’m the 50th one?

No issue grandmother just take this amount and buy whatever you require, He said.

‘I didn’t lose any money, not even i visited any street in last one weeks but I don’t know why everyone is talking about some written note on the street, please do me a favor whenever you will go to that street just tear that note’, said the old lady.

She took that 100 rs and thanked him with blessings. He started walking towards the street where he found the note written.

In his mind there were many questions, Who had written the Note? Why 49th man visited the old lady house ? Shall I tear the Note from the pole ?

While thinking of this, suddenly a Lady stopped him.

Hello! I am Lisa… Actually I found a 100 rs note on this street, could you please help me with this address ?

The man smiled and said, Yes! Of-course… Just go 100 metre straight then take the first left turn and after walking 50 metre take another left and you’ll find the house in the right corner.

Lisa thanked him and walked towards the old lady house.

Now every question was clear, he found the reason behind all the things. He understood that there’s no shortage of kindhearted people or humanity on this planet.

Sometimes it just needed a spark and the things turnaround. A first step which can make a change. It’s not required to be a billionaire or millionaire to be a kind or to help other. It’s just a small act of kindness which can turnaround everything.

We can built a world full of happiness and humanity. Believe me! it’s easy to do, so let’s pledge to take that first step in the needy’s life or be the sunshine in someone’s dark life. While doing a small act of kindness will make a big change in this world. #himmat_hai
