When my 2-wheeler Hero Pleasure was not being used for a long time, and it was reaching a state of malfunction. I decided to upload a proposal to sell it on OLX. So I put an advertisement on OLX by quoting a amount of 30000Rs. After putting the ad I received a lot of offers ranging from 15,000Rs to 28,000Rs.
I thought if I am getting 28,000Rs immediately after posting, might be someone would give 29,000-30,000Rs also. Later when a proposal of 29,000Rs came. I thought to wait for the 30,000Rs also, as it was the highest bid for my vehicle.
Next morning I received a call,
Dear Sir,
I saw your Hero Pleasure ad. I tried very hard to collect 30,000Rs but I have been able to collect only 24,000Rs only. My Son is in the final year of engineering. He has worked very hard to complete his graduation, he sometimes go on foot, sometimes on bicycle, sometimes on bus and sometimes with someone else. I Thought in his last year, he should go by this Scooty. Will you please give me the Hero Pleasure as buying new vehicle will cost at-least Rs65,000/- and I could not afford a new.
Please give me some time, I will arrange all money for you, if required I will sell my phone. But please don’t sell to anyone else. I will arrange the amount.

I was going to give my vehicle to an unknown person in 24,000Rs even if I had 29,000Rs offer. Thought how much joy would have been created in that family today. Tomorrow when the Hero Pleasure will come to his house. They will be more happy and 5,000Rs will not harm too much to me.
God has given a lot to me, so helping others is my duty.
The next morning he called at least 6-7 times.
Sir, at what time should I come ? your time will not spoiled.? Should I get sure that you’ll sell your Scooty in 24,000Rs only? Can I take my son or come alone.
I said him to come with his son at 10 AM.

He brought a collection of 24,000Rs with notes Rs2000/-, Rs500/-, Rs200/-, Rs100/-, Rs50/- and some coins too along with his son. It felt like, he have bought this money after withdrawing it from bank or collecting it from others.
He was looking at the vehicle with ferocity and gratitude. I gave him both the keys and the paper. His son was turning his hand politely at the vehicle was wiping out the dust with handkerchief.
He asked to count the money, I said you have brought it by counting, so no problem. When they started going, I returned a note of 500rs to him, and said to buy sweets as they were going home. The thought was whether they have money for oil or not. And if they don’t, both sweets and oil will come in it.
With tears of gratitude in his eyes, he left us and took his pleasure. While leaving, they bowed with great ferocity and humanity. Repeatedly thanked.
We say it’s my pleasure but today, while selling the Hero Pleasure, it was felt what pleasure really is. This proposal was unique.
While doing work or business in life, one should not see his own loss. Sometimes he has to see whether someone has really enjoyed through their efforts. It’s important that God has made you worthy of giving something or not, but its more important that you have the ability to spread happiness among everyone by doing small efforts.
Today, whenever you see an elderly women or man selling vegetables/fruits or any other work, giving 5 or 10 rupees more after purchasing items from them will definitely give the pleasure what I felt today.
